While the tattoo is healed, is absolutely perfect. I was more than a tattoo on his leg several times.

Never wax a tattoo. It could be very bad if it is new, because you train a crust, but I am a beauty therapist and waxing among many tattoos happened, nothing.

I do not have several tattoos and a private area to see if there is hair. I wax about every 2-3 months and for years were no adverse reactions to tattoos. Only the tattoo is completely healed before hair removal and you have to wait for a few days after waxing get a tattoo in this area in order to avoid irritations. It is a lotion called AmLactin or LacHydran you can with an ingrown that occur after waxing can help.

Yes, is not affected. If you have not done immediately, however, the tattoo should be completely healed.

Make sure that the tattoo is completely healed, so that's OK because you can shave, after more than 7 to 10 days.
